Hosting, server log files and visitor statistics
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When pages are accessed, IONOS processes technically necessary data: the page or file requested, the previously visited page (referrer), browser and version, operating system, device type, time of access and your IP address. The IP address is anonymised as soon as it is collected and only used to determine the approximate location of access.
From this anonymised data, IONOS compiles visitor statistics for us (IONOS WebAnalytics), for example how often each page is viewed. No cookies are set for this.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website and seeing which content is used. IONOS processes the data as our processor (agreement under Art. 28 GDPR), stores it for 8 weeks, does not pass it on to third parties and does not process it outside the EU.
Contact form and email
When you write to us via the contact form or by email, we process your details to handle your enquiry and for further business communication. This includes your name, your email address, your message and whether you are writing as a manufacturer, a retailer or for another reason, plus voluntary details such as company, phone number or product.
The form transmits your details in encrypted form to our web server at IONOS. From there they are sent as an email to sales@touchpoint-solutions.de; we do not create database entries or logs containing your details on the web server. If the form cannot be sent, your email program opens instead with a prepared message.
Our mailboxes are hosted on Microsoft 365, a service of Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Microsoft processes emails as our processor; for possible access from third countries, see the next section.
Required fields are marked: without your name, email address and message we cannot handle your enquiry. All other details are voluntary.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual steps, otherwise our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We delete the data once it is no longer needed for this purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Booking appointments via Microsoft Bookings
For online meetings and appointments at our trade fair stand we use Microsoft Bookings, a service of Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland, as part of Microsoft 365. The booking page only opens when you click “Book a Teams call” or “Book a meeting at our stand”; no data is transferred to Microsoft before that.
When you book, your name, your email address, where provided your phone number and message, and technical usage data (such as IP address and browser) are processed. We need your name and email address for the booking; everything else is voluntary. We use the data to organise, prepare and hold the meeting – via Microsoft Teams or at our trade fair stand.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the meeting serves pre-contractual or contractual purposes, otherwise our legitimate interest in organising meetings efficiently (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Microsoft processes the data as our processor under its data protection terms for business customers. This may include access from countries outside the European Economic Area, in particular the USA. Such access is covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Microsoft is certified, and by EU Standard Contractual Clauses. More in Microsoft’s privacy statement: https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-gb/privacystatement
We only keep booking data for as long as needed to organise the meeting and for the business communication that follows, or where statutory retention obligations apply.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not set cookies and does not include any third-party advertising, tracking or analytics services. Fonts are served from our own web server; loading them does not connect you to any external font provider.
If the website suggests another language and you pick a language or close the suggestion, your browser remembers this choice in session storage so that the suggestion does not reappear on every page. Only the language code is stored, and only after your click. It is not transmitted to us and is deleted when you close the browser window. The legal basis is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG, as the storage is strictly necessary for the language choice you requested.

References to LinkedIn or Instagram, for example, are plain links. Only when you click them do you open the provider’s page; its privacy notice then applies.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing and to data portability (Art. 15–20 GDPR). Please contact info@touchpoint-solutions.de.
We do not make automated decisions or create profiles (Art. 22 GDPR).
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
Right to object
Where we process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal message to info@touchpoint-solutions.de is enough.
